Harvey Weinstein has come out from the shadows after a turbulent few months with a new lease of life. Following the collapse of the #MeToo movement after chief protagonist, champion and ambassador Asia Argento has been accused and admitted herself to having sex with a minor and paying a large sum of money to keep the victim quiet.
“It’s just crazy. What has happened to Asia is unbelievable – a champion for women to come forward against myself, all whilst covering up, then admitting to it, and then victim shaming a minor for having sex with her. She is a disgrace.” Said Weinstein.
“As such, I have decided to launch a new Twitter campaign – #YouToo?. This is in response to all the recent allegations against me, and friends in the business. There are so many, and they just keep on coming. Some of these women I would die to have sex with! Some of them I did, yes, but others I did not. I thought it would be great to create a campaign for us males that are suffering. I have a number of other Hollywood stars on board.”
Many people have been shocked to hear of this. One commented, “Weinstein is guilty until proven innocent. The word of a female is more powerful than the law, in that Weinstein is guilty until he can prove he didn’t commit these crimes. #MeToo has changed the law; the burden of proof lies with the suspect in these types of cases.”
“But only if it is a female making the accusation”, added Asia Argento, referring to the recent allegations made against her by Jimmy Bennett.
