An American Citizen who rallied in the streets of his hometown in Ohio in support of Donald Trump’s Muslim ban, has hit out at the current distain towards American gun ownership. Complaining that we cannot punish every gun owner for the actions of a few.
Trump first called for the ban during his successful election campaign, and once in office he reiterated his desire to ban Muslims travelling to the country from certain countries. The countries affected are Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.
The fact that the culprits of September 11th attacks (the largest ever on American soil) weren’t from any of these countries, instead they were citizens of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Lebanon, seems to be irrelevant.
Today though, Trump supporter Chuck Johnson hit out at recent criticism of US Gun ownership, saying it isn’t fair to take guns away from everyone.
“You can’t take the guns off me and my pals. We didn’t shoot no school. That be a mental health issue. Not all gun owners are mental”
We asked Chuck why he wanted to ban Muslims coming to the country when they aren’t all terrorists. He just looked at me blankly.
